Tamale Time

Well this was the second year we made tamales with Vanessa and Michele and we definitely out did ourselves! Lucas had so much fun making them and was a great helper too! I think we made about 18 dozen and they were pretty good! Austin just eats the olives and cheese and isn't much help but Lucas stuck with us for the long haul.

The boys had a great xmas and my Uncle Bobby came out to spend the holiday with us. Kyle got a Home Depot tool bench which he just loves and looks so cute in his work goggles. The big gift for Lucas was his hot wheels and Austin received a Star Wars AT-AT (took Santa HOURS calling around the country to find this one since Toys R Us was the only store carrying it and it was a hot item). Finally found one in Northern California and one of my friends up there picked it up for Santa.

Holiday Tradition

Every year we take the Christmas train to visit Santa with the Valdez family -- Jennifer, Tony, Gabriella and Aidan. The kids had a ton of fun and it was cute to see Lucas and Austin excited about seeing Santa this year. Kyle was only along for the choo choo and the candy cane.
